Mr. David R. Robinson Bsc Geology has 33 years of experience in finding projects, partners, management teams/Boards and capital for junior resource companies, with over $400 million raised for the companies. This has involved private companies as well as companies which he has listed on the TSX, the TSXV, NASDAQ, and AIM.

Currently VP Business Development of TSXV-listed Horizon Petroleum Ltd., which is focused on opportunities in West Africa, he was previously President and CEO of Colombia-focused Benchmark Energy Corp., which merged with a private company to become Bolivar Energy Corp.; prior to this, Benchmark was active in Tunisia. Mr. Robinson is a founder and director of privately-held Radcan Energy Services, based in Calgary. Prior to this, Mr. Robinson was CEO of AIM- listed Forum Energy Plc, which was taken private and is active in the Philippines. Previously, he was Chief Executive Officer, and a Director of Aurado Energy Inc., an independent Canadian petroleum exploration and development company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange and active in Kazakhstan. Mr. Robinson was previously Chief Executive Officer of Tracer Petroleum Corp., and previous to this he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Odyssey Petroleum Corporation, both of which were Calgary-based international exploration and production companies. Prior to this, Mr. Robinson was Executive Vice President of Arakis Energy Corporation where he was responsible for all aspects of corporate finance and business development, and played a key role in financing the exploration and development of Arakis' Sudan concessions. Forum, Bolivar, Odyssey and Arakis were all acquired by larger oil companies.

Mr. Robinson has been involved in projects in Canada, the US, Colombia, Argentina, Trinidad, the Philippines, Indonesia, Oman, Iran, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Egypt, the Sudan, Cameroon, Nigeria, Tunisia, France, and Poland. He holds a BSc (Geology) from the University of British Columbia (Vancouver, BC), and an MBA from Queen’s University (Kingston, ON).
